Success criteria. . .
- We need to attempt words by saying the first sounds of a word and reading on to the end of the sentence.
- We go back to the beginning of the sentence and reread quickly and think what looks and sounds right in the sentence before continuing to read.
Student Voice: “ I know what to do if I get stuck on a word. I can leave it out and keep reading then go back again”.
